Letter 2 Happiness

Happiness, I ask where have you disappeared too
seems like an eternity since Ive last seen you
To fast were you gone, and far to short you were here
vanishing without a trace, leaving a river of tears in your place

I've met someone new, her names misery
like you she never lingers, always here with me
she fills that vacant spot left by you in my chest
always nagging begging for more, never letting me rest

Happiness your my first love but Misery's a close second
since you left shes the only thing with which i felt a connection
shes just like you in a sick and twisted kind of way
your the light shes the shadow and shes night while your that day
