Permanently Broken

Such a long path I am obligated to follow,
to prove the face in which you see.
So much of me is now permanently hollow,
from dodging the bullets you fire at me.
What can I do to escape from this flame,
I burn myself with each single spark.
How can I be the one you decide to blame,
I've been your dream since the start.
Time collapsed and now I am your vision,
withered and swept into your mind.
All that breathes has become your decision,
the future has no ability to rewind.
Forever the object of each new fantasy,
proven to be empty of any emotion,
The vivid pictures still cannot find me,
you can’t fix what is permanently broken.

I'm lost for words about this poem... it is really well written... the third and fourth line stand out for me, but its all good. |
