My Angel

Contributed by RyhmeNotReason on Sunday, 12th April 2009 @ 07:35:32 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I heard my angel in a child's laugh
and saw her in a dream
Her eyes were like those stars at night
which have the brightest gleam
They showed me love, and showed me peace
A glimpse at heaven's gate
And when she smiled and kissed my lips,
my heart began to race

I saw the sun, I saw the moon,
the stars that fill the sky
They paled beside her radiant face
and those beautiful green eyes
When I awoke I almost cried
for she was gone, it seemed
I wish to God there was a way
to live inside a dream

Now, everytime I close my eyes
I see her glowing face.
But, never will I kiss her lips
so full of hope and grace
I know that she's still with me though,
I feel her all the time
I smell her hair inside a rose
and taste her lips with sweet red wine

I heard my angel in a child's laugh
and saw her in a dream
Her eyes lit up my life that night
and killed me with their gleam

Beautiful flow to this write,

I smell her hair inside a rose, that is pretty.
