I’ve heard that numbers don't lie
And I thought why
But anyone can plainly see
That they could be wrong and that's a lie to me
I've heard that those are the facts
Meaning that without a doubt this is true
Whoever thought of that I demand to sue
Nothing is in truth
It is all what you’re told
Because facts
Are just things we are told are true
So here is the cold honest truth
There is no truth
Because there is a great thing I've been told
It is the one true fact I've come to behold
And that is that nothing is ever written in stone

The rhymes feel overly-forced and "sing-songy", but I like the message. |
