Still in love with you

Contributed by Urizen on Saturday, 11th April 2009 @ 02:19:11 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Once again I am alone,
And once again I don't know what to do,
There's only one thing you must know
I'm still in love with you.

The air hangs heavy with dark clouds,
I'm scared, scared almost to move,
I whisper this secret to this adulterous wind,
That I'm still in love with you,

I wonder as I walk a pace,
And see the lovers bill and coo,
I wonder if we could be like that
'Cause I'm still in love with you

Someday when the Earth has stopped,
And the stars drip down like glue
If you were to ask me on that judgement day,
I'd say, I'm still in love with you

I think we all have had that same feeling of love and it seems to never let go, thanks for the read.

I truly enjoyed your poem. It was sweet, loving and tender. Since most of us have at one time, felt this way... I wonder if they know. At the time, when you have feelings for someone and they move on, I tend to think that they will never know what it is like. Just pondering your poem at the moment.

I especially liked the last stanza.

Really like this write,
especially.
Someday when the Earth has stopped,
And the stars drip down like glue
If you were to ask me on that judgement day,
I'd say, I'm still in love with you

Take care
Fuzzy
