The swirling mists of shadows quay
Rose up aside a moaning sea
Enveloped the hills that lonely stand
A shroud of fear adorned the land
Silent swirls of dampened grey
Looking for life to form decay
Slowly creeping beyond a tide
For souls surrendered nowhere to hide
Cloaked a cottage in twilight stood
Beyond a hillside of twisting wood
Upon its door it wandered for thee
And gently tapping it gained entry
Went beyond where embers lay
Amid a grate with warmth in day
A desolate room with no one there
Crawling along it found a stair
With arching back to rise above
To grab the rail with icened glove
Finds a room with life within
A haggard man with wrinkled skin
Another soul to take without decree
For the swirling mists of shadows quay

Ooooo.... those swirling mists of shadows quay are sorta creepy. :-) I really enjoyed reading this and it flowed along rather well with very nice imagery.
Thanks,
Tim
