applicably, we tried.

as time turned

seasons over

in its' mind. . .

we lingered, you. . . I.

we lavished in perpetuality

with no measure

of the distance

in the wind-swept,

evening sky. . .

& within a cloud-laced veil,

cynical witness

transformed,

strays mystified.

what trance?

. . . mere concentration?

nay. . . a songbird pause.
