I have a new addiction
That addiction is you
I know I shouldn't feel this way
But I just can't let go
The feeling I get when I'm with you
It makes me come alive
You're like a type of heroin to
A recovering drug-addict...
The most forbidden delicacy
When I think about our love
It makes my head spin
The way you make me feel
Is absolutely amazing...
The way I need you so
Is a forbidden thing, I know
But this drug addict must
Replace you with the heroin
Your scent to me is alluring
Your eyes pull me in
I simply have to be with you,
Even though this is a sin
Any other person
Any other time
I know it wouldn't be half as good
Because I know you're mine
We belong together now
No matter what they say
I can feel it in my heart
That this isn't just an addiction
Your body isn't the only thing
But you mind, heart, and soul
I need to feel you near me
You've got to let me in
Years it's been since I met you
And since we have been an us
Though few things have changed
One thing did
Everyone knows now
They all look and judge
The disadvantages of living
In a small town
Everyone looks at us
As I walk down the halls
I take your hand in mine
And tell you, 'Baby, it's alright.'
You smile at me,
Though you're not sure
This isn't just an addiction,
Though it's not anymore.

I'm reading the first twilight book at the moment, and this is a perfect description of the love story. it flowed well, used excellent description and had a touch of irony. excellent work.
