Gently washing eyes of stone
Coming to only to notice he’s all alone
Blackened markers standing above raised mounds of soil
Painful reminders of an earthly toil
Guarding angel over charred remains
Of eternal screams and crimson stains
The lonely bell tolls from over the hill
Her heart it pains her and she loves him still.
Heart of stone and all alone
Eternal damnation from where she roams.
an angel of dark she may be
blood red and lips of poison seethe
As scarlet eyes watch passions rise
Under a silvery moon and pitch stained skies
Erratic beats from straining heartstrings
Waiting for the climax and the rush with which it brings
Paled flesh the hue of the shining moon
To a mortal heart it makes him swoon
They danced beneath the opaque sky
Wind over the valley softly sighed.
The shadows swept them in,
love divine ,love of sin, twirling in the night.

I see you added one more stanza...it turned out very good. I like the title too...it fits very nicely.
Maybe more poems will come, only time will tell...
