It's nearly time to cross over into the borderlands,
Far from friends and all loving hands,
Far from crowds, places or time,
From bright life noise to the place that hears no sound .
Where rivers were famed to cross this great divide,
This final curtain is a broken line,
A half drunk drink and a half dreamt dream,
A pleasure waiting; pale and obscene.
But remember this; all those that dare to cross,
You will never win, you will be counted as lost,
And you must exit as you came in:
Always kicking and fighting it.

I WAS EXTREMELY impressed with this write, thers just not enough good fantasy poetry here but this is amazing, the mystery the writing, the limbo like atmosphere you conjure is awe inspiring, you have a great grip of pacing and of imagery, keep up the great work ill be reading much more of it..
reminds me of some of the classics!!! |

A great little fantasy poem. There were some awesome phrases in here like:
'From bright life noise to the place that hears no sound .'
'This final curtain is a broken line,'
Inventive writing!
