When Solid Foundations Begin To Melt...

Vulnerable here again, I recall
those tangled, lingering memories
mingled with sneaky and deceptive promises of
tomorrow’s better, brighter sunrise
and infinite gentleness, too often forgotten
but etched forever in the hearts of desperate and dazzled dreamers
I have drowned in the twilight shadows of
your typically delicate whispers,
been haunted by your tender glance
manifested in the fickle game we played
with listless and lucid eyes I have watched
the ebb and flow of the frazzling torrent
of you-
the eccentric manifestation
of yesterday’s magnetic memory-
a microcosm of the hollow victories of today
and the undying hopes of tomorrow

Lot's of alliteration in this one. I thought it was great. Thankyou for posting this! |

And it has stood the test of time as I would say it still is quite good. :-)
Thank you for an interesting and enjoyable read.
