The End

She closes her eyes
And opens them
Dead.
Her words roll off cold
And heavy
A thick rush of water from the rooftop
Making a muddled splash
As they crash into my soul
Drawing my heart out through my chest
Like the magician's handkerchief
One
section
at
a
time
Until I can barely
Breathe at all
Afraid.
If the pain stops,
If the handkerchief drops,
Will I ever feel again?

This is a wonderful poem... The emotions... WOW!!! This was like writen from my heart.
I like how you don't say to much but just enough to get the message to the reader. |
