Carousel Of The Emotionally Insane

It's really strange
how I am starting to feel
Intense pain as I bleed,
It's overwhelming
when your eyes are open
and you can't tell what is real.
I cry for help
as I fall down
and emotional vampires drink deeply
as my essence flows,
I never scream
or shout out
that's not aloud
in the underworld.

A sudden rush
confusion explodes everywhere
the army of darkness
screams
fill the air...
my adrenalin is flowing
as the battle rages
into a chaotic nightmare
that wobbles
spinning
like a broken carousel.

Laughing hyenas
and
crippled pilgrims
are slowly transforming
as
they retreat back
into the shadows,
I tingle in sensations
I pause I tremble
as the landscape changes
and new episode unfolds.

Everything is peaceful
everything is so beautiful,
I no longer notice
the emotional vampires feeding
as my essence flows.

this is a string of fantastic metaphors bound together. i particularly love the 'emotional vampires', that works really well and combines imagery with conceptional thinking. i loved it. 5/5.
