How hard is it to write a poem
Sitting in a chair in your home
Not to hard for you will see
That anyone can do it even me
All it takes is a little time
For the words to come out and combine
Just a few moments with a little work
Anyone can make one smile or smirk
Simple for all to do this thing
Maybe about winter or even spring
Not much to it just say what you feel
And put it all together to make it sound real
A little rhyme here and there
Makes it all better to read I swear
But most of all express yourself
With the emotions or feelings you hold on your shelf
Let it all go and write it down
Next thing you know you'll be going to town
Word after word forming on a page
As if an actress performing on stage
Step by step to complete each line
Weather a script or this poem of mine
So now that you see it isn't very hard
Grab a pen and paper and let down your guard
Write down what you feel into a poem
As you sit alone in your home
Then post it on here for all to see
That it is as simple as can be
