A normal day is what it seems,
But then comes the awful dreams…
Things are not how they have been
You start to lose your mind
Hoping and praying you can escape
The evil thoughts are all you find
You search for what feels like forever
In this long, drawn out endeavor
For something has changed
Something inside of you
Now you’re looking for answers
And yet still have no clue
For the answers don’t seem like they exist
Therefore you are lost amongst all this mist
Why did things have to change
Why couldn’t they just stay the same
Just when you started to feel a balance
The nightmares came
So maybe this is a mid-life crisis you feel
Trying to understand the surreal…
So how do you escape
Come back to stable ground
Find an answer
You so desperately need to be found
