I found I have a traveller’s heart,
a wanderlust, for sure
just point my feet at any street
and I am out the door
adventure is my middle name,
the world a ripened peach
give me sights to blow the mind
and heights to try and reach
all the planets circle a sun
that spins upon itself,
movement is in the blood
not still upon a shelf
if all my days were been and gone
and this my final scene,
I’d take the high road
and the low
and whatever’s in between.

Now, THAT....is a beautiful journey, indeed! I loved this. The last stanza made me smile, because I feel much the same way. I've been itching to just get in the car with someone....and drive. May your journey be fruitful and may the wind be strong beneath your wings. If you find yourself in the southern California area...I'll be around!
