How does?

Contributed by xmistyangel on Friday, 27th March 2009 @ 07:37:18 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

How do I explain to you that you are my life?
How does the loving sea tell the calm water that without him,she would be empty?
How does fire tell the air that he completes her?
How does the the hyena tell its laugh that she would be unhappy with out him?
How does the sky tell the birds how she needs them so?
How does the glass tell the water hes the only thing that makes her feel full?
How do the fleas tell the dog they need him to survive?
How do the monsters under a child's bed tell the child they would be useless with out him?
How does the jelly tell the peanut butter she needs him?
How do I tell you that you are my life?
That I'm empty with out?
That you that you make me complete?
That I'm unhappy when I don't have you?
That your the only thing that makes me feel full?
That I wouldn't survive without you?
That Id be useless without you?
That I need you so?
That I love you?

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
