Mind swallowed by thoughts,
words echoing in my head
Music will drown this out,
rearranging the emotions
Eyelids shutting,
I'm swaying to the rhythm of this song,
the world is a black tunnel
Throwing my head to the left,
my anticipation dies
Throwing my head to the right,
all thoughts of him fade
Singing loudly with music vibrating the room,
I can only feel my voice
Hands together in the air above me,
my heart is filled with helium
Song ending slowly,
I'm holding myself
I'll find another song to dance to,
another few minutes of sedation

Well written- easy to read and filled with meaning.
one question: (if this work is non-fiction) did it work did it bring what you needed, seems to me the sedation is temporary, relieving but temporary? |
