I'm nobody,
nobody,
and no one is me.
Won't somebody,
Somebody,
Someone save me?
I'm not the way I use to be,
I'm not special,
Not the one and only.
I'm used up,
Thrown out,
And left out alone.
Won't you save me?
Don't turn your back,
Don't walk away,
Unless you want things to stay the same.
I know a part of you is saying:
Please dont leave,
Just dont leave her.
You know the kind joy she brings,
The way she makes your heart want to sing.
The way she whispers in your ear,
Not to go back, but to stay right here.
I'm nobody,
And no one is me.
Won't somebody,
Someone save me?
What made you think to turn away?
She looks at you in the saddest way,
She sees you for who you are,
Can't seem to understand how you drifted apart.
Won't you stay?
Won't you let this all go away?
