A Heart ...

Restless nights tossing and turning,
a soul now consumed by pain.
Confused dreams clouded and dark,
a heart that was driven insane!
Hidden secrets hurtful and cruel,
a mind that refuses to forget.
Lying tongue hateful and mean,
a heart now filled with regret!
Angry words heartless and rude,
a will unable to find relief.
Crying eyes distant and empty,
a heart that knows only grief!
Shameful choices painful and wrong,
a future not meant to last.
Broken promises shattered and torn,
a heart that clings to the past!
Selfish pride worthless and cold,
a love that's now lost forever.
Wandering spirit lost and alone,
a heart that will know no other!
Foolish trust hopeless and blind,
a life that has lost its soul.
Vanshing hope faded and gone,
a heart that can never be whole!
