Each of you has touched my life
And left an imprint on my heart
Most surely upon my soul
That wraps around me to
Anchor me when I might flee

And though I wield a pen
With skill and thankful pride
I find that words elude me now
When I most need them
To speak what fills me so

The truth is, that without your hands,
Your kind hearts and spirits
That took this sinner in
I would be a shell of what I am
And the words would have died

For freedom and truth you stood
Beside this broken soul
Never asking for more than I,
In my own humble way, could give
I am surrounded by angels.

You have a way, you have a way with words.
Such talent here.
I will read more of you.

You know, I don't think you realise how much of a gift you are to US.

I love you Dawnie, so many of us do, and YOU belong here. You are a part of our family and that is not something you can escape from or lose.

And I am speaking for myself here, but you have never failed me.

I love you. Stay.

Always yours as you are mine,
Phil xxx

You wrote a beautiful poem, the words you pen always reach out and touch. You have also touched many including me and I am proud to call you"friend"

A sinner, no you are an angel.

Hugs you huge and tight

Sweetie ... this is just too beautiful for words. I haven't the time to dedicate to commenting
on this properly. I just wanted you to know I read it, and I am moved beyond. This is one
of the most touching and altruistic pieces I've ever read. I'll be back when I can articulate in
a more adept way. All I can say right now is ... wow!

*hugs*

First let me say that we are the lucky ones to simply have you amongst us. We are.

You write beautifully, your heart, inner spirit, strength and caring nature is seen in every stanza.

By writing this poem you have made all of us feel so very special.

But you are just as deeply imprinted in all of our hearts.

We are the lucky ones..

Kie

okay dawn, I am back and still no words could convey what it is you mean to so
many of us. Sometimes we lose sight of all that is good in others, but you, in your
humble way, remind us. You give without thought, provocation or expectation
and that, my dear dawn, is one of the most beautiful gifts you could bestow.
Because of you, we know what it is like to be smiled on by an angel.

I wish I had more talent to articulate this emotion more cleverly, but I'm sure you
know what I mean. Thank you. Thank you for always giving. Your being there
means more than any words I could ever conjure.

Bless you. Always ~

~ Breezy
