High Flyer

Contributed by cyrano on Tuesday, 25th March 2003 @ 06:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

Dizzy Dragons
Rehearse
Their hum-fest dance
Downdrift
And blown about
By stale breath
Of August's
Summer-tide days.

Hyblaen sails
Glit and glimmer
In high azured harbors
As masters of leisure
Hang aloft.

'Till gold dusty
Owl-lite
Lends it's own
Dulcet phrase
And begins
As it ends
In night's
Crimson
Song.

Wow, this is some fabulous writing =)
So I was looking at some of the older comments on my poetry and I saw your comment on one of them. So I decided to read through and check out your writing too =)
This is an amazing poem, cyrano. The line "lends its own Dulcet phrase" was great, that was my favorite. and of course, the ending too, that was just awesome.

Great poetry =)
God bless,
Jellybellyprincess
