No title again

How can it be that so long ago,
I'd make you happy and i didn't even know?
The force was blooming but was not there to show,
still how could you give me such a low blow?
I was filled with happines and peace and joy,
for you were now with me; all mine to enjoy.

But i can't seem to remember,
it happened so fast.
Where did your feelings go?
They slipped right past.
It's as if the bond itself was like a disease.
The fear within wouldn't leave you at ease?

What was it that happened? Too afraid to show?
I wish i'd asserted. I'd have let you know.
That actions indeed are the best way to tell,
but that i wasn't expecting much out of that shell

You thought i'd rage.
You thought i'd be rough,
but the smallest action would've been more that enough.
But now it's too late. My biggest regret.
Not much i can do, except long for you...

Getting in touch with the pain and releasing via poetry is certainly curing the soul. An experience to get stronger from. I can certainly relate.
