SERENITY

Close your eyes
For a moment to ponder
Silently im waiting
Dreams of the mind to wander

Shadows from within
Are released from restraint
Slumber comes calling
Whispers hushed and feint

Slowly drifting away
From normalities foes
To my sanctum of calm
That nobody knows

Peaceful thoughts visit
On daytimes decsend
A few moments alone
Serenity to mend


No storms of destruction
Nor winds shall amass
Over its radiant gardens
Only i may trespass

My island of dreams
Brings calmness ashore
My private minds sanctuary
With troubles no more

Dreams breezes calm dark clouds
That gathered that day
Whilst im bathing in the waters
Of nights tranquility bay.
