to the people in my world

Contributed by lostrelic on Thursday, 19th March 2009 @ 04:21:49 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

I read your letter on the wall the one penned in passion red and yellows fear
you tried to tell me the sky is falling and to grab my coat and head for the door.
I did not listen i tried to reply but the keys were not found and the way has been lost

Reading your memories of the times and places you fell over in shock
has brought me to crawl, so i can not temp the same fate as you.

I got the book you sent me the ones with no pictures but the images were true,
showing places only found in the minds of the insane, oh the stroll i had that day.
I questioned the motive but the words left me in a trance of slow decay and watered eyes.

this world you are trying to show me has no mercy for the weak of heart, its rhythm is a slow drawl
feeling like the back of a barn dance with only a bottle of musk to ease my stupor
kicking my heels to the devils fiddle and musing over the great words of a country star

What a collection of idiots we have become always rolling in somebody's mess
throwing words till the end of time playing the savant in a rustic manner
dinner for seven with a setting for three
candles burning at both ends but you know the story it runs like the wax in my blood
i welcome you again my friend for the roll you haver placed before me i hope this letter does not elope on the soul

I usually would never put the motive to my writes but this one is about religion and the letters and bible stories my brother sends me. i am only expressing with words that are twisted like the ones he sends me.
