She's only sixteen
and having a quarter-life crisis.
She should be out having fun,
not falling to pieces.
Yet she waits
for her life
to get back on track
and end her strife.
Trying to be patient
trying so hard
Having to be strong
to survive this world.
This world of hate
and anger
is causing her life to crash-
all down around her.
But still she fights
and prays
for her day to come.
And so she stays.

A very good read. You can see the struggle, and relate. Good writing keep it up. |
