I smell the bread cooking in the kitchen
While seeing the children play outside,
Where is Mom at, The foods cooking away
Oh I forgot, Mom went away
Its just me here cooking
I must be in a dream,
But I see the kids playing outside
Oh wait, they are not mine
Dad is the dinner table set yet,
Im almost done cooking
and I havent ate today
Hey, where is dad at
Well I guess its just me here,
I seen my dads picture on the wall
and it kinda made me call out for him,
I love my dad, hes a great guy
Well today I have company for dinner,
everybody can join me if they want,
but the one I know will show,
is Jesus

I will admit the way you wrote this I liked but there were a couple times I got a bit lost, might just be me tonight though. I love the ending....... I take several meanings with it too.
Good night to you.
