Time is slipping away,
The days are not the same,
Living life because you have to,
trying to just make it through,
Time just keeps ticking more,
watching it like never before,
The older you get,
you tend to want to forget,
what time really meant to you,
how time changed the view,
Time doesnt stand still,
sometimes we wish it will,
doing what we choose,
precious time that we loose,
wishing sometimes we can make it stop,
as the hands reach for the top,
another day has passed,
time just doesnt last,
So I watch time by the hour,
wishing the clock would loose power,
hearing the ticking in my ear,
ticked away to another year!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
What time I spent doing what I need,
just so I could try to succeed,
instead of doing what I want to,
precious time has really flew,
wanting to have more time to spend,
to those hearts I need to mend,
all those times I take for granted,
all my time that I lended,
I cant get that time back in a day,
watching the time slip away.

Great work and so true. It is amazing how you suddenly realise how much time has passed since you last thought about it.
