She touched the north wind with feeling
nature enfolded round her feet.
A glimpse into a sound heart beat
and the skies parted the day.
Song bird sitting lonely
in a tree barren of leaf
in the cold of an ugly day
though her song so beautiful.
No flower buds forming yet
winter wants to hold her cold
rain falls yet again
resting on her lashes gentle.
Her feelings touched by pale of blue
her heart filled with love, gently resting
and her sigh lingers for a moment
and falls gentle to the ground with a single rain drop.
Where they mingle together, a secret kept between two.
