" Hello my son, what would you like to discuss,"
Thank you for your time father, this is the first question that comes to mind,
Why are we the way we are, why do we find joy in causing harm?
God leaned back in his throne and said, Listen my son,
'" You do what you do, because you haven't follow the path I set for you,
You lose your health trying to gain wealth,
Then you lose your wealth trying to regain your health,"
Well what about war, what are we fighting for?
" Well my son, that's an easy one,
The urge to kill, is greater then that of wanting to heal,
When someone makes you mad, your first thought is to get even, and that's bad,,
You must forgive and forget, but you must forgive yourself first, that's about it,"
How about showing love, rather then pulling a gun?
" Yes my son, that's what I want you to understand, that's how you become a man,
You can't make someone love you, you can only let yourself be loved,
And relize it only takes a second to open a wound in someone you love,
And it takes many years to heal that scar embedded in their heart,"
What if you have no one to hold, and your feeling so cold?
God began to laugh," Like I said follow the path,
There's someone for everyone, pay attention my son,
Someone loves you dearly, they just haven't learned to express their feelings,"
Through your word, we know there is only one God, if so who is Ala, and Budda?
He leaned back and said," That's how each person's soul is fed,
You must relize two people can look at the same thing,
But know this, it's me, each person sees me differently,"
Well what's the difference between rich and poor?
" You see that's a question that even makes my heart sore,
A rich person is not the one who has the most, or has a house on the coast,
But the one who needs the least, the one with inner peace,"
The Lord then said, " Let me ask you a question my son,"
By all means, it's the least I could do after all the things you have done,
" If you could have anything in this world what would it be?"
I closed my eyes, picked through the thoughts clogging my mind,
I began to sob, "Lord I'd be out of a job,
If I could have anything in this world, I'd want peace."
Forever Faithful

I almost cried when I read this poem. IMAGINE............a conversation with GOD HIMSELF!!!!! Even if it was a dream. I can tell that GOD really talked to this person in his dream. |
