Lonely Wizzard

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

There is another tale that i know
this is also from long ago

Down by the river there sat a lonley wizzard
he would sit and stare all day
before he knew it his hair was all grey

I asked him why are you so sad
he turned and said, ive lost my beloved dad

Well i was stunned and didn`t know what to say
so i put my hand on his back and said, it`ll be ok
that wizzard looked at me then i could tell
the poor bugga had been through hell

I sat down with him and poured a glass of wine
and passed it to him and said, here mate it`ll help your heart its from the vine
you should have seen his face it began to glow
at first i thought the ol bugga was about to blow

But instead he shook my hand and said
my friend how kind you are
i hope to see you again in not to far
well that made my day and i said wizzard
some days are bleak
some days are grey
beyond all words have a good day

thankyou young squire you have cured my fear
now its time for me to disappear:)

I liked the message in this as well as the wit and light hearted nature, Nicely written.
