thrown the bone

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I write to the sadness of the land, the breeze that blows over us all.
I cry to humanity and the goals we have forgotten over time.
I raise my fists to the sky we only fight to let others take hold
I fall to my knees as the greed takes full control

Once i worshiped the sky and the hidden details that were not seen,
i followed the laws and kept myself unseen.

But the crimes against the world have only sharpened my words
the battle of religion and the harvesting of souls.
The planet is in shock and poverity has swept us all in
people battling others for what they call sin.
Criminal minds wrecking the balance that we held
fences growing higher using money to make the welds.

If i have to face the unknown i want to stand on stable ground
pure water for all and a world that has finally been found.

We blame everything but our own true hearts
spinning history so we can let it repeat.
Deep in our souls we must see things are not right
watching our sources slowly deplete.
We all need a place to call our home
no bars on the windows no interests and loans.

I will break the law today and say we need to rebel
kick in the doors of the ones who wont let us swell.
take action for the crimes we commit
take leadership roles away from the rich.

What is going to be left the total control of the north east south and west.
Governments hands in everything that's in there way
we already lost freedom of speech they censor what we say.

They have thrown the bone its up to us to bite the hands that feeds
take the world in whole and give what we consider as human needs
This is really happening reality has gone to far
we are following the lives of bloody movie stars
just words of cotton candy that disolves before our eyes
bathing in dirty water and feeding on their lies.

*nods in agreement* this was so sincere, and yet filled with an angst that we are not perfect, and our world is fraught with injustice and depravity. it may not be the easy solution, but our world needs a major overhaul if it is to be a place fit for ALL people to live in. great writing, a cenotaph of verity in a growing piazza of inequity.
