~Gone~

Contributed by shelby on Saturday, 7th March 2009 @ 02:51:10 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

This day has ended and night enfolded in a thick blanket of black.
Silence in the night, yet city noise to drown the stillness.
It all blends together and finds its moment, or does it when its gone?
Fine mist gathering to starve the moon and stars, though behind the mist the moon and stars shine on.
Or do they when our eyes look away or is the moment just gone?

Minutes and moments, hours and days, dismay and bewilderment, joy behind tears.
Bitter-sweet , thundering souls and faltering hearts, begin again left behind a start.
When we search we find a world, yet so complex to comprehend, one foot in front of another,
the cycle begins again, spring upon the rise, winters final breath, frost over the valley.

Between peaks and valley, where th sun shall not peak, words fall silent, void of sensible speech.
Are the Angels in the mist high above this blanket of black, singing glory be, or do we not see?
In those moments of choice, then the choice is gone, searching in the darkness reaching for the dawn.
A song in midnights choir, somewhere beyond the hills, the silence in the night, the cities siren shrills.
It is all gone, or is it just a magic act, where it is so elusive we really do not see?

I sense loneliness. I think the angels are always there whether we see them or not. I am also beginning to believe we are all connected. I have been finding those connections all week long when I come here and have been doing much contemplating about it. While I am not completely clear where you are coming from on this one too, it made me speculate much and ponder a lot. So, you get a wow+. :D

Take care and blessings to you.

Tim
