The Destroyer of Enemies

Contributed by venkat on Monday, 24th March 2003 @ 06:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Om Obeisance unto thee O Mother Kaalika,

Ever existent in the heart of Lord Almighty.

Appear; appear to destroy enemies and evil spirits

Destroy; destroy demons and seizing cruel planets,

Win for me men and women and appear with thy

Thousand crores of lustrous flames omnipotent

To destroy charms and destructive plans of enemies.

Destroy their missiles, machines and strategies;

Powder; powder their arms, ammunitions;

Change them to ashes;

Remove; remove all diseases from my body

and my mind, Hreem Hreem Om Kaalike,

Thou impetuous in valor and fearsome faced

Adorned with dark delusive night

Where ever I go Thou guard me from all sides

In all places protect my limbs from head to foot

with thy divine energies

Protect the activity of my life force in my tongue

In all sensory organs and bless me supreme bliss,

Om Kaalike, Hreem Hreem Hum, Phat Phat Swaha!

Dearest venkat ... I wish so badly that I had an insight into your spiritual feelings .. they must be so deep. Each time I read your poetry I am moved by your way of writing ... at times I find it a little difficult to understand, but always I draw from your spirituality. sincerely Jan

Venkat, this is a beautifully written prayer. There are a lot of enemies in this world. The bad need to be destroyed, so the world can be at peace once more. *S* Cynthia
