That Spanish Girl...

She is stuck on the pages
of workbooks of mine,
waiting patiently for me.
This Spanish girl,
with dyed blond hair,
full red lips, & dark tan skin.
This Spanish girl that now and then
I add more traits to that I find appealing.
Maybe someday we’ll be lovers
in a poem I have yet to write.
Lovers that quarrel & leave one another
hearts broken, or she the older woman
that gently guides me through
that first awkward sexual experience,
but whatever it will be.
It will involve sex and something
to do with those long red nails
I gave her a while back;
bet on it!
