Today I searched for answers I could not find
Today every question brought you to my mind
What secret power do you hold over me?
How can there be such power, yet I can not see?
Today the wind whispered softly in my ear
And your sweet voice was all I could hear.
I felt the magic of your finger on my arm;
You sure know how to turn on the charm.
Without you my life would be a total wreck.
You are the constant that holds everything in check
I am blessed beyond what mere words can describe.
You are the healing medicine that no doctor could prescribe.
You, my friend, provide the boost that makes me strong
You supply the drug that keeps me feeling young
Without you my life would be so bare
Maybe now the answers for which you search are clear
