Her Laugh

Her laugh
was the smell
of newly washed linens;
fresh cut grass
child smiles
gypsy dances
the green spot at sunset
how Niagara Falls sounds
when you get close on the bus
crunchy snow
good molasses pouring
a special touch
from one you love
joy ringing in certain church songs
happy eyes from babies,
giggles too,
the sigh, that special sigh
after love-making
an unexpected compliment
that makes you go wow
quiet nights
Really really good chocolate
Music in your bedroom late at night
A look from someone you want that look from.
But most of all
she laughs
like she
likes you
and she does.
Like that.
That is her laugh.

I have been reading thru your poetry. You write so vividly, that an artist could compose paintings - just by reading your words.
You have an artistic creative mind - that is what I see in your poetry. It is one of the greatest gifts bestowed on very few.
"Her Laugh" is wonderful, so wonderful.
Thank you Innie.
