Eternal Paranoia

Contributed by Fallen_Lover on Sunday, 1st March 2009 @ 09:40:55 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

To much to do, in to little time

the clock becomes your enemy

his touch your savior

as the hands tend to pass you by

his hands old you near

You feel the world force itself upon you

as you begin to slowly drowned in your fears

He pulls you out and quiets your whimpers

you cling to him and ask him to never leave

he promises never to, he has set your fears at ease

for now then when he leaves for a brief time

the world starts to press in on you again

and your delusions yells to relize this is reality

you wait for his hands to pull you out

but they never do

and ever slowly you drowned in your paranoia

as it rocks you into a restless sleep

whispering that it will never hurt you

that it should not be feared but embraced

and when you think you have sunk to far

and been dead to long

a bubble appears and with it you feel something

hope and realization

hands wrap around you and pull you back

you have been gone for a while

you yell at him and hit him for letting you die

and he says that he had no choice

his paranoia had gotten him

to let you fear reality all to much

is his fear, he had to let you face it

but he was always there

you knew he had been there

but you were to far gone and to far dead

the insanity has won

and you distrust everything besides the little lullaby

that paranoia sings to you

as you drift to your ever eternally restless sleep

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
