I dream of you
in bed with me-
your chest to my back,
your head next to mine,
your arms wrapped 'round me.
Your warm breath
on my neck,
your strong hand
holding mine,
your heart beating
close to me-
these thoughts fill me
with peace,
and bring a smile
to my lips.
I rest easy
with a picture of you
in my head,
my dreams will remain pleasant
as long as I have you.
