You gave me a friendship
that I loved.
You gave me memories
that are now painful
to recall.
Clothes, school, the past,
the future, religion, war-
we dicussed it all.
You're one who understood
my humor-
I never felt the need
to apologize
for sarcastic remarks.
You were my partner in crime,
my twin,
my best friend.
Our friendship is done,
it's gone beyond our grasp,
but sometimes I wonder
if it could be found.
I don't know if it's you
or just the bond we shared,
but I feel as if
I'm missing you.

| when i read this poem i felt like crying remembering my x-best friend. we lost contact and now we are just two strangers. i miss her so much. she was like my sister. :( |
