Beyond the birches,
on a far-away hill.
A small house sits,
forever still.
Overhead, the birds fly,
voicing their joyous trill.
Beyond the birches
on a far-away hill.
A serene brook
with its water exceedingly still.
Beyond the birches
on a far-away hill.
Someday, I want to live
in the house so still.
Beyond the birches,
on a far-away hill.

Very inspiring. I like the part about the water being exceedingly still. What an interesting word!! |
