So you’re seeing a guy and you’re happy I bet, but the thing is I’m not ready to give up
just yet.
See I realize it’s hard to make complex decisions not knowing the outcome; will it be like you envision?
Or will it all fall apart and you be left alone, to reflect on the consequences of the seeds that you’ve sewn?
Could it alter you’re life and make everything new? Could it open you’re eyes, would you find love that’s true?
Or would it just be another of those little flings, wisped away as a vapor such a meaningless thing?
Speculation means nothing we can’t know what will be, in a month, in a year only time lets us see.
Chances are taken for the opportunities gleamed, to be loved and be happy, to have all that you’ve dreamed.
Prospectively speaking I’d say it’s worth the risk, but my option is biased, and the rate that I’m falling is brisk.
I spend hours of days sitting on a stool at a bar, I waste time, space, and money just to be where you are.
Even when I can’t see you, you drive me insane. It seems day in and day out you’ve been the only thing on my brain.
Please don’t confuse this as obsession. Obsession’s not me, there’s just something about you, something great that I see.
You’re beauty surpasses all the things to compare, you’re lips so inviting, gorgeous eyes, long dark hair.
The way that you smile, your kissable neck, the curve of your back, oh God they’re right I’m a wreck.
I said this, this way because it’s what I do I can write, so I used that advantage to try to explain my plight.
No matter how this turns out, and how I can’t wait to see, I just want you to be happy
even if it’s not with me.
