Shiver.

She said im fine,
You just need some time.
She left me under the stars
Leaving me , left me with scars.
I never saw her again.
I still think of her from time to time.
Now that the storms stopped blowing.

I threw a kiss in the air
In the hope it'd reach her face.
I dont know the where to aim so i'll close my eyes.
It's so cold without you here, yeah its so cold without you.
So will you promise me when your home , you wont shiver alone.
The wind effects my sight, the sun froze over just for tonight.

She never promised me the time of day light.
But tonight we can just pretend.
So that for one night my scars will mend.
You could fix my smile tonight.
Count how long we have till the sun comes back.
I'll hold you till it's time to go.

I threw a kiss in the air
In the hope it'd reach her face.
I don't know the where to aim so i'll close my eyes.
It's so cold without you here, yeah its so cold without you.
So will you promise me when your home , you wont shiver alone.

She woke up in the morning.
She knew it was time to say goodbye.
With heavy breaths and crooked sighs.
I packed her bags. She kissed my pillow.
Now i wont shiver alone .
In my empty home.

I dont know the where to aim so i'll close my eyes.
It's so cold without you here, yeah its so cold without you.
So will you promise me when your home , you wont shiver alone.

I see her from time to time.
Never ask her name.
I know if we did it again it wouldn't be the same.
So i let her walk on by.
And let my chance pass me by.

I threw a kiss in the air
In the hope it'd reach her face.
I dont know the where to aim so i'll close my eyes.
And hope it reaches her without a trace.
It's so cold without you here, yeah its so cold without you.
I cant promise when im home, i wont shiver alone.

This is a verry heartfelt and emotional peice...I loved it. especially the parts where you talked about blowing a kiss into the sky in hopes it would reach her face...that was a very touching and kind of sad line..nicely done.
