A glazed forgotten gaze
Stains the picture now
Profain prevailing thoughts reign down in thunderous sound
Pain that trickled thin
Begins blistering, busting out
And such certainties, undeservably
Are now submerged in doubt
Although your hurt
And feel like dirt
It serves to work for all your worth
That you stand strong and stout
Or as much devout
For your purpose on this earth,
Like life and light in his true word
Yearn to be burning proud

i liked the imagery you used here, very appropriate to the subject matter. i particularly liked this bit:
'A glazed forgotten gaze
Stains the picture now'
seemed very poignant to me. good work.
