Walking through the woods
the darkness of night surrounds us like a shadow.
The moon flows dimmly against the endless nigh
barely showing a path (that might not even exist).
We're lost with no way out.
I grap your hand for reassurance.
I hear the wind howl, like a warning.
We've been walking in circles.
As we walk, dry leaves crackle.
They're glass under our feet.
Every step brings us closer to
oblivion.
