Consequence

Contributed by Daydreamer on Sunday, 23rd March 2003 @ 04:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

At so young
Your song had already been sung
At so young you were taken from us
And yet you gave no fuss
You made some unwise decisions
Now we'll never know if you've finished your earth's missions
Will we ever know through all the sessions?
You loved the booze
But you never thought it would come for it's dues
Two are dead
Two lie in a hospital bed
The street is now filled
where blood and oil spilled
All due to your unwise decisions
You've kept alive the traditions
Of drunk driving
As the ambulances were arriving
News had already spread
Leaving those to only dread
Hoping it was not true
Relizing they had no more chances with you
Love and regret will soon
In their hearts consume
You've left this earth
In which to you your mothers' gave birth
In our hearts
We will never part
We love and miss you Alondra and Joanna

Sad, but an excellent write. I also did something on the same subject, called "Lesson Learned". Check it out, maybe you can relate.

God bless you and your talents to write poetry. I cried and I am dearly sorry about your loss.
