Shakespeare's Resurrection

Contributed by jaavys on Sunday, 23rd March 2003 @ 03:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

Shakespeare, you are resurrected
Go and write as I've directed

"My Lord, I'm in the flesh"
"But I am not a he"
"My Lord I'm she!"

Ladyfawn is now your name
Otherwise you are the same

"My Lord, my breast!"
"Will it keep me from my best?"

You're talent s'not god given
Time has kissed you once again
You have magic in your pen
Go ahead and write for men

As a writer you excell
And you will not go to hell
Write for me you understand
Write, and do as I command

You write beautifully. Or should I say I like the way you write. It takes me anywhere from a few minutes to a few years to write a poem. The are usually not directed at any one person. I'm glad you liked it, it was my pleasure.
