Fiends and unknown friends

Topic: DarkPoetry

I did not saw my kinsfolk
as bloody and lustful
as they were portrayed
but yet I knew we were betrayed
and so felt the need to avenge it
I will make them pay
for what you were about to say
Is this being a monster?
If I could just make you understand
that it isn't just man
that can create
that cares about their mate
and yet there is a difference
that you fear what you have not met
it is this fear that makes you sweat
because of our muzzles that have become wet
and by the time we met
this new war was upon us
and I will be on my side
but I will be asking why hasn't it started
and you will be in a corner
sobbing and asking why

Did vengeance come or was it a total charade

I feel your pain, my friend. Sometimes I wonder, when looking at me pet... is there really somewhere else he rather would be? Well... idk, but we really need to respect animals, and the environment for that matter. I hope I'm not walking away with the wrong inflection here =P. Nice write =P.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
