I wish we were more
But I just can't say
You are so close
But yet so far
You are my friend
Even the untouchable car
I wish you could hold me
Keep me safe and warm
But when you get close
My head goes off like an alarm
These are the words
I wish I could say
If only I could tell him
Maybe he'd stay
But I can not tell him
He'd probably laugh
Turn around, walk away
Saying "that's a good laugh"
It would hurt
I know it would
Tha's why I won't tell him
Though I wish I could
He's untouchable
We're just friends
Maybe if I keep hoping
I'll be happy in the end
