You make my heart feel whole,
you make the air smell fresher,
you make me smile.

Days went by
where we couldn't speak,
and I was moody,
sullen and discontent.

Now you're back
and when we first spoke,
the whole world lit up.

You've rescued me
from my gloomy thoughts,
now the world is bright,
my smiles are no longer forced.
